The snowflake method normalizes the table's dimension in a star schema. The main goal of Snowflaking is to normalize dimension tables by eliminating low cardinality attributes. In database tables that are logically organized as collections of rows and columns, Snowflake stores all of its data.
Snowflake provides three different types of tables: Transient, Temporary and Permanent.

The Snowflake driver sets a limit of 16,384 columns due to the SQL command length restriction. The driver sets a limit on the number of columns based on how much information is required to read or write a row. There are only about 7,480 columns available when all of the data is purely numerical.
