Below are the set of steps to be followed to connect to SAP HANA database from the Power BI:

Navigate to Get Data.
Go to the database and also select the SAP HANA.
For the Hana Connectors, click here: https://support.sap.com/en/product/connectors.html
Download and complete the installation.
Type in the server name.
Type any Sql statements if needed. This is optional.
Select the mode of authentication (window/ database).
You will need to select the required tables and fields residing in HANA for creating the reports and visualization.
You will need to connect the data through import (for less data/offline) or direct query (metadata/ online) to Hana.
Click on the OK button.
With this, the data will be retrieved and will be ready for creating the visualizations.
