Is there any command to find the standard error of the mean in R?

The standard deviation of the sampling distribution is referred to as the standard error (SE). One simple way is to calculate the standard deviation divided by the square root of the sample size.



StandardError <- function(x) sd(x)/sqrt(length(x))

 

We can achieve this using a built-in function called std.error from the plotrix package.
