I want to restrict access to the azure portal, can I use multi-factor authentication for this purpose?

Microsoft Azure

I know Azure has Multi-factor authentication for the resources/ applications hosted on it.

But I want to control access to Azure portal. Is it possible to use multi-factor authentication for the same?

Yes, it is possible to restrict access to the Azure portal using a multi-factor authentication process. The multi-factor authentication is responsible for adding a layer of security to the Azure administrator account without any additional cost. Once the Multi-factor authentication is turned on, all you need to do to verify your identity to spin up a virtual machine, manage the storage-related activities, and the other Azure services.
