It is very easy to submit a sitemap. Navigate to your website in the Search Console. Select the "Sitemaps" option under the "Index" section. Enter your full sitemap URL (Ex: sitemap_index.xml) in the "Add a new sitemap" field. Click on the "Submit" button. That's it, your sitemap will be submitted.
