How to create a commit in AWS CodeCommit?

Cloud Computing

Hi Team,

I have created a branch in AWS CodeCommit. I want to create a commit for a repository on the tip of a specified branch. How can I do that?

Ans: The create-commit command helps in the creation of commit in AWS CodeCommit. It helps you create an initial commit for a repository that adds a readme.md file to the repository named TestRepo in the master branch.

$ aws codecommit create-commit --repository-name TestRepo --branch-name master --put-files "filePath=readme.md,fileContent='Welcome to our team repository.'"
