JBoss Business rules management system is referred to as a subset of JBoss BPM Suite. The business rules management system includes Business rules engine, business central, real time decision server and business resource planner. These tools provide their extensible support for the business rules creation and execution as well as solving the optimization problems.

The business process management suite also includes the tools that are available in the business rules management, apart from this, it also includes few additional tools like Business central (KIE workbench), business activity monitoring dashboards, process execution server, execution server engine. These tools are providing a path to offer a complete BPM solution, including business process execution, modelling and monitoring.
