Ans: Meta data grid in Tableau data pane is used for representing the fields in your data source as rows. Based on the type of the data that you would like to connect to, you will need to click on the meta data grid button that will help you to the metadata grid. It helps in identifying or determining the structure of the tableau data source and helps in managing the different tasks that take place on a daily basis.
